Unpacked belonging? Check. Schedule looked over? Check. Timcampy fed? Check. Vampire fed? Yeah he supposed that was 'check' too. It hadn't even been a week, and he woke up today feeling the unmissed heaviness of being eaten from without him knowing. God he hated Fay. So sitting in the nurse's office, hooked to an IV (what sort of school keeps equipment like this around?!) and slightly dazing in and out of sleep he knew he really didn't get, no matter what his memory would tell him. Giving a small yawn the male shifted in his seat, pushed some bangs out of his face, and turned the page of the book in his lap with his 'free' arm. It was just a silly irrational fear, but he always disliked having a needle in his arm even if it was a flexible one. If it wasn't going to cause his problems later, he would have ignored the advice to see the nurse. But last time he did that he passed out in the middle of an exam. Really hated that vampire...
Lame post is lame :/ Deal with it I'm tired.

Lily had spent the night in the nurse's office, after a particularly nasty full moon. The moon itself had occurred two days ago, but Lily had gotten into some kind of squabble with another werewolf. It had left her with a broken arm, cuts on her face, legs, and arms, and bruises pretty much all over her body. And how did Lily feel about all of this? Why, cheery as ever! After all, you don't live in New York without learning how to take a mugging or two. And, you know, werewolves have that whole healing perk, yadda yadda...
Lily was currently gathering up the things she had brought to the 'overnight' wing, for she was going back to the dorm. The arm would be fully healed in a few days; most of the cuts were pretty much healed over. Lily being Lily, though, she naturally had to send her entire table flying across the room; the thing flew into the curtain separating 'patients. The curtain decided to rip and reveal another student, hooked up to an IV, sitting there rather placidly, reading a book.
"Oh, my god, sorry, sorry!" Lily was not quick enough to catch the menace on wheels, and it hit the boys' seat with a loud crash. "It ran away from me..."
Lame posts are the best ones, bro.

"Oh my god, sorry, sorry!" Someone else was here...? The gap between his mind comprehending the situation and the speed at which the wheeled table was barreling towards him was shortly filled, the only sort of defense he was able to think of was to lean in the opposite direction of the table as it slammed into the chair. If anything, it certainly brought him back down to earth rather than leaving him there to vegetate with the IV. "W-what the hell are you-!" Oh wait. Nurses office with injured people. Supernatural injured people that probably have different definitions of injured. So with the high probability that this girl was something that could break him like a toothpick, he quickly bit back any sort of rude objection he could have said and simply let out a sigh. "Good morning." It was a stupid and blunt thing to say, but he was sure if he had tried to say anything else he'd step on some toes or go off on a train of small rage. Looking at the table he noted some objects fell off and leaned over to reach what he could after setting his book down.

Lily was over by the white-haired boy, trying to take the table back to where it belonged. She was on her knees next to it, picking up stuff, babbling. "I swear the moon is different over here- I mean when could I suddenly do that like it makes no sense half of the time, ow cut my finger. Stupid book..." Lily bumped into the boy's hand as he himself was reaching down to help; she broke her babble for a moment and then began again. She looked (and sounded) a bit like a sad lost puppy. The thin paper cut had already healed. "Good morning to you too, and, oh, thank you, I really am sorry, everything's been so crazy since I came to this school and dear lord I am really quite sore and I just feel so frustrated a lot and I guess I kind of took my anger out on the stupid table when the wheels were stuck and then hey the curtain sucked and tore and then the stupid table crashed into you." Lily slowly stood up, the arm in her sling adding to her instability. The nurse was forcing her to wear it over the next few days while it healed completely; she thought it was rather silly and hated it. "So, uhm, white-haired IV boy, what's your name and why are you in here?"

The moon? What did the moon have to do with anything? An eyebrow raised slightly at her confusing and rapid blabber that he was struggling a bit to keep up with. Their hands bumped and he immediately recoiled out of both instinct and embarrassment, but then she started back up again. A small smile as he placed the last of the items he decided to pick up on the table. "Allen Walker, nice to meet you....?" Oh right still haven't been given a name yet. Next part of her question. "My roomate sort of... Nicked me." Whatever sort of lame censoring of the truth that was supposed to be, it was obvious he wasn't good at it. Yeah he'd been here a year already, but just going out and saying 'oh my roommate is a vampire and I'm his nightly meal' just doesn't roll off the tongue like it should.

Nicked him? What was that supposed to mean? For some reason, the thought of Edward Scissorhands crossed Lily's mind. Somehow she doubted that was his roommate. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lily Talbot." Lily beamed at the boy. "Thanks for helping me pick up this junk; I really don't know why I have half of it." On the table was a magazine, some scissors, random bits of paper, some change, a half-eaten chocolate bar, a couple sticks of gum, and a bag of cheese puffs. Three days in the nurse's station/school hospital? A girl needed things to do! Lily started absentmindedly picking at one of her bandages, continuing to babble whilst feeling incredibly awkward. "I guess I kind of just get really bored, and I needed to do something, you know? I'm not too big into books or video games or anything; I wish there was an engine or something I could fiddle with. It's a shame they don't have an autoshop class here, but I guess that's more of an American thing." The peeled-back bandage started to reveal a fairly deep cut that was starting to scab over. She quickly stopped peeling it back. Lily looked at the floor. She didn't understand why she was being so shy; she just felt very strange. It seemed like all of the kids here hated conversation. The other boy she had met on the track didn't speak too much either. "So, uhm, what's your, y'know, 'gift'?" Lily used the fingers on her free hand to make air quotes.

"Autoshop...?" He assumed it sounded just like what it's name implied, but he was a purely academic student with very little interest outside learning what he needed to continue on to the next grade. Heck he didn't even know what he was planning to do after this, let alone if any of the work at this school counted towards anything normal. Normal, like him. He assumed, and assumed correctly, that this girl wasn't completely a normal human, and if her finger quotes and question was any indication of anything, she assumed the same about him as well. "Oh... Well I'm not-" Was it really okay just to say he was normal? It was here where he was the oddity, not that he really cared about being the odd one out. She seemed nice enough to not give a moment's notice though, if anything he guessed she'd probably just change the subject again. "I don't have any gift, ability or whatever you want to call it. I'm just human. But what about you?" Where did that initiative come from? Sure he was curious, maybe her talkative nature was just contagious. Honestly I'm gonna probably have to check this late for typos and grammar ._. Too tired to be roleplaying properly but I had musefulness for post.

Lily heard what Allen way saying, but she was just a bit caught up by his first word. "Do you... Don't tell me you don't know what autoshop is?!" She was amazed. Sure, the kid was obviously a Brit, but surely he must have some knowledge of the most fun class ever? It was just about the only thing she had an A in back home. Here, where the skills learned are a bit different, Lily was having a bit of a harder time. She was okay with it, though; Lily's was never the girl to be gifted with smarts.
Lily finally processed the other things Allen had said. "So, you're, like, just a normal human being? ... Why on earth would you pick here?" Lily gave a small laugh. "I guess you didn't realize what the school was for, huh? I only really knew because one of my brothers told me about it." Lily absentmindedly scratched her head; her hair was down and about, wild as ever. "I'm a werewolf, if you want to know. Like I said, the moon's been affecting me differently here. I have these weird outbursts of strength all the time." She paused a moment. "It does kind of help, though, when others attack you. It was so weird; they didn't seem to have any control, I mean, when I was five I was more human than they were. Oh!" Lily stopped. "Sorry, I'm babbling again." She turned her neck and cracked it a little. "Do you mind if I sit down?" Lily gestured to the chair next to Allen.
Lol, I got tired of not being able to read Lily's dialogue. So she's just plain green now~

Okay so that wasn't the reaction he was expecting first. "I-i know what an autoshop is... I just didn't think there were schools that taught that sort of things to minors..." All his life he'd been drilled with the notion that if you studied hard and went to college, life would open up it's beautiful doors to you and you'd be well-off. Or something like that. Problem being that was such a vague idea that he had no idea what he was going to use all this schooling for. "It's a good school, and I didn't have to pay to come here, even if it is private." Probably because it was a gifted's school that it was private, to them probably just another public school. Although when abroad and private were put togther, it seemed as if his folks just shoved him out the door to prosper. Except that's not really what was happening. So yeah, werewolf. Got it.... Okay no he didn't. This girl, this bigbrested, pretty looking girl was a werewolf? He supposed it'd be rude to ask about movie stereotypes and such, but then again maybe it wasn't... He'd never met one before, and he already stated he was human. That still wasn't an excuse to be rude and ask. Thinking to much again, she's talking to you Allen. "O-oh yeah. Go ahead, it's open." He honestly didn't mind the blabbering, it was just hard to tell when she was going to stop and ask something suddenly when he automatically just started thinking to himself trying to keep up with all her topics. Aha yeah. Allen's original blue isn't friendly to the darker posts, but it seems fine on the lighter ones >>''?

Lily sat down with a smile at Allen. "Thanks." She was fidgety as ever, playing first with the hem of her shorts (fraying in various places), then the (sparkly) do-dads on her tank top, and finally, Lily started braiding (and un-braiding) her hair (it looked a bit silly, as one hand was still in a sling). Naturally, she was rambling on. Poor Allen should not have opened the floodgates; then again, were they ever really closed? "I think I miss auto so much because it was really one of the only things I was good at. I don't know why, but carburetors and radiators and grease and mechanics just makes so much more sense than sentence structure and x and y and all of that." Lily sighed; her hair was now in a side braid, messy in a natural, effortless and adorable way. Her hands started going over various scars, the cast, Allen's arm (totally accidentally; those things have minds of their own). Did Lily notice? Not really. The boy was probably a flame anyways. "And yeah, I mean, I guess I have done better here than any other place, but I think it's mostly just because of my roommate and my slight lack of friends. And now, here I am, sitting next to a boy I just met who's probably sick and tired of me talking his ear off." Lily winked. "If I'm being boring, annoying, or otherwise being an awful nuisance, please let me know. I'm used to it. I must say, though, it helps when people yak back at me; god, take my roommate. The only time I can get her to shut up is... never." She laughed. "I guess we could really talk forever, since both of us have word vomit... issues."
[... This is the edited version. The other one was almost six hundred words of Lily going on about nothing. Yeah, this is what happens at midnight after being up for twenty-something hours.
P.S.: I apologize to parentheses everywhere for my abuse of them.]

Word vomit issues...? Surely she was talking about her habit of talking on end, effortlessly running from one topic to the next, but the choice of words was just... Odd to him. Or maybe it was because his first thought was trying to imagine someone talking while vomiting... "You're not being a bother." If anything he had to stop himself from smiling stupidly at her, he really did enjoy listening to people talk and she was ready to go on without him even having to nod to let her know he was still listening. "What kind of person is your roommate?" A pause, that probably didn't come out the way he meant it to. Unless she expected him to be nosy. Was it too much to ask? She was a talkative girl so with a mental shrug he amended his question. "I mean, you're a werewolf... What sort of 'gift' did they pair you up with?" Maybe everyone got fucked over with roommates.
Or maybe it was just him.
// God this is probably really short but it was all I could think of atm, if you want I can come by later and lengthen it up >> EDIT: OH FUCK THAT'S SO SHORT I'M ADDING A BIT MORE IN THE MORNING JUST LET ME HAVE SOME SLEEP
